Indoor Success - Congratulations to Luke Oliver

Luke Oliver has been doing well in competitions for F3P, indoor flying aerobatics, with one trophy for the Indoor Masters 1st place in F3P-C and one for winning the C League.

Well done Luke and keep up the great flying!

Final 2015/16 LMAC Indoor session booked - Sunday 20th March 2016

The final 2015/16 LMAC Indoor session is booked - Sunday 20th March 2016 and confirmed in the large blue sports hall at the Sports Connexion in Coventry. Hot drinks and snacks available on the evening from 18:30.

Many thanks for your support during the 2015/16. It's time to get outdoors and go fly now!  We look forward to see you again indoor from October 2016. Let's hope it doesn't come around too quickly though!

Additional indoor event for January 2016 has been booked (10th and 17th January booked)

Given the very poor weather in December, an additional indoor flying meeting has been booked for Sunday 10th January between 18:00 to 22:00 at the Sports Connexion in Ryton. Email updates will be sent out as a reminder a few days before. Keep an eye on the indoor page, calendar and Facebook for more details.  Sunday 17th January at the same times is also booked.

AGM 2015 - Jack Marsh Trophy presentation

Congratulations to Howard Murphy for winning the 2015 Jack Marsh Trophy and also to Virginia Robson who was pipped into a very close second place. I'm sure you will all join me in congratulating them both, but to also reflect on the many things both have contributed over the past twelve months to our great club. Thank you both! Thanks also to all the other members who were nominated for the Jack Marsh trophy this year and have made a difference.

A thanks on two accounts.....

You may recall earlier this year we assisted the Widow (Lynn Atkins) of ex LMAC member Stuart Atkins in selling a number of Stuarts prized models?  Lynn kindly donated a Boomerang trainer which was in need of a bit of repair; Very kindly, Roy Monk offered and repaired the tail sections of the trainer. LMAC now have a trainer which is available to train new LMAC pilots.
